Who we are

Rico Homes sells and lets apartments in Nairobi, Kenya. For anything in this notice, contact us at ricohomes@outlook.com or on +254 704 335936.

What we collect

• Enquiries and viewing requests. Your name and email address, and anything else you choose to give us: a phone number, the development or unit you are asking about, a preferred viewing date and time, and your message.
• Newsletter sign-ups. Your email address.
• WhatsApp, calls and email. When you contact us directly, we see what those services show us, such as your number or address and your messages.

We do not ask for identity documents, payment details or other sensitive information through this website.

Why we use it

• To reply to you, send the floor plans, payment schedules and other details you ask for, and arrange viewings.
• To send new releases and market notes, if you subscribed. Ask us and we will take you off the list.

We use your details because you asked us to act on your request, or, for the newsletter, because you consented.

Where it is kept

Forms on this site are stored in Google Firebase, in a project we control, and a copy of each enquiry is emailed to our inbox. Google and our email providers process this data for us and may hold it outside Kenya.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your details. We share them only where your request needs it, for example with a developer’s sales office to arrange a viewing or a reservation, and we will tell you before we do.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we are helping you, and afterwards only as long as our records reasonably require. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Third-party services on this site

Fonts are served by Google Fonts, and images, data and forms by Google Firebase; your browser connects to them to load the page. Links to WhatsApp and Google Maps take you to those services, under their own privacy terms. This site sets no advertising cookies.

Your rights

Under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to how we use it. Write to ricohomes@outlook.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

Changes

If we change how we handle your details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
